BD GEO Tracker is intentionally light on cookies. This notice tells you exactly which cookies we use, why, and how long they last.

On the marketing site (bdgeotracker.com)

We don't set any cookies on the marketing site. No analytics. No advertising. No remarketing pixels. No social-network tracking.

In the app (app.bdgeotracker.com)

We set exactly one cookie. It is required for the app to work.

• bdgt_session. Keeps you logged in. Contains a signed JSON Web Token identifying your account. Marked HttpOnly and Secure; cannot be read by JavaScript. Strictly necessary. Duration: 7 days. Not shared with any third party.

Because this cookie is strictly necessary to operate the Service, it is exempt from the prior-consent requirement under Article 5(3) of the EU ePrivacy Directive and equivalent UK rules. You cannot disable it and continue to use the app. If your browser blocks cookies you will be unable to log in.

What we don't do

• We do not use Google Analytics, Mixpanel, PostHog, Plausible, Heap, Amplitude, or any other web-analytics platform on either site.
• We do not set advertising cookies, remarketing pixels, or any cross-site tracking technology.
• We do not “sell” or “share” personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising within the meaning of the California Consumer Privacy Act.

Changes

If we ever add a cookie or tracking technology that requires consent, we will display a consent banner before setting it and update this notice. We will also notify existing customers by email.
